Mission of Global Health

The mission of Global Health is to support and facilitate the international research, education, and outreach activities of WSU in health and human development. Global Health allows compliance with human resource, procurement, and accounting procedures in accordance with the laws, regulations, and policies of the countries where WSU is conducting health studies and education.

Organizational Structure of Global Health

Global Health organizational structure is composed of officers who are responsible for daily operations and a board of directors responsible for oversight. The current officers and board members are:

Global Health Kenya

Global Health Kenya (GHK) is a registered NGO based in Nairobi that manages a broad range of health research and training projects in Kenya. Activities are carried out in partnership between WSU and Kenyan governmental, academic, and private sector partners.

Global Animal Health Tanzania

Global Animal Health Tanzania is a registered NGO based in Arusha that manages a broad range of health research and training projects in Tanzania. Activities are carried out in partnership between WSU and Tanzanian governmental, academic, and private sector partners.
